Cappuccino Blast: Eat, Love and Laugh!!!

This place is one of a kind, full of life and a perfect place to unwind. People love to be here again and again and it is among the favourite hangouts of Lucknowites. Cappuccino Blast that was just started as a cafe by Puja Nemani (owner/founder), has now expanded in manifold. This place is now already a big thing in Lucknow and the most loved space also. It is a great place for every mood, an expansive space to sit back and relax.

Cappuccino Blast located close to the heart of city at 12, Mall Avenue, next to ETV office, Lucknow which is very much away and free from the chaos and turmoil of the city life.

This place is also known for its plush and vintage theme decor. At the entrance there is a narrow gallery where you can see beautiful small wooden houses, bottles and lamps hanging from the trees and white fencing at the sides that leads to the Bakery (Butter Cup Bungalow), a fine dine restaurant (Ultraviolet) and a small shop(Dreams), an open air section(hookah lounge), an indoor section and a roof top cafe.

This place has a vintage set up, all in white and floral that makes it look so beautiful, calm and serene. It also has a spacious parking lot and clean washrooms. I love this place especially during the evening time and winters. The cozy and warm seating space on the roof top/indoor and open air section ,where you can just sit back, relax, listen to good music, play guitar, play games, enjoy the weather, enjoy the good food or do whatever you feel like doing.

Few days ago I along with my fellow bloggers attended a food tasting session at Cappuccino Blast organised by the owner of the Butter Cup Bungalow, Aarti Vaid.

When it comes to food everyone has their own taste like some of you may like savory food and some of you may like confectioneries. It happens often a lot with me that I am not always willing to try a different food but after this food tasting session I have decided to treat my taste buds with all kind of delicacies rather than the ones that I always order.

In this food tasting session we were served with the delicacies from all around the world like: Italian, Mexican, and Burmese (Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian both).

We were served with the food at Ultraviolet, a fine dine restaurant at the cappuccino blast. Talking about the interior, which is very much royal, elegant and lavish. The heavy chandeliers, royal chairs, beautiful curtains and other antique stuffs in the interior make the place pleasant and comfortable at the same time.

At the food tasting session we were served with about 25 dishes and I will be listing down few of them that I liked the most and will also recommend it to you guys.

VEGETARIAN DELICACIES

1. Khow Suey

2. Cheese fondue: Served with garlic bread and long stemmed forks, to dip the bread into the pool of melted cheese. The melted cheese is seasoned with herbs and served in a fondue dish. It taste so good and if you love cheese then you should definitely give it a try.

3. Original falafel: It is a Middle Eastern dish and the key component of the dish is the chick peas. It is served with soft pita bread filled with Lebanese chick peas bullets served with Tahini and hummus dip.

4. Jalapeno and corn quesadillas: Kidney beans, Jalapenos, corn and cheese stuffed together in a very generous amount into the soft corn tortillas. It has all the Mexican flavours and quite spicy.

5. Garden surprise: Baby corn, mushroom and paneer cooked in a rich creamy tomato sauce and served with pasta stir fried vegetable and French fries.

NON VEGETARIAN DELICACIES

NO BAKE CAKE

Hey hope everyone is doing well.Today in this post I am bringing you all a NO BAKE CAKE recipe.
Few days ago I tried my hands on this "NO BAKE"  thing and this cake turned out to be really good so I thought of sharing this with you guys. I am a chocolate lover and I am sure every chocolate lover will love this cake.Any of you who is not into baking or do not know how to bake a cake have an option now. It is one of the easiest no bake recipe which I have came across till now.
So lets get started!!!

THINGS REQUIRED

Dark chocolates  ( I used 2 bournville rich cocoa)
White chocolate  ( I used 1 small milky bar)
200ml Amul Fresh cream
Amul Butter
Chocolate cream biscuits ( I used bourbon)
Digestive biscuits             ( I used marie light)
Nuts:Roasted almonds,Walnuts
Dry fruits (like dry figs,cranberries)

METHOD

CAKE BASE

1. Take around 250 gms of bitter chocolate and to that add half cup of cream. To melt the chocolate microwave the chocolate and cream for around 40-50 sec.

Note: You can melt the chocolate by creating a double boiler as well.

2. Now the chocolate has melted, add some butter to it and give it a nice whisk. Allow it to cool for around 10 minutes.

3. In a separate bowl break some digestive biscuits (here I used Marie Light) and chocolate cream biscuits (here I used Bourbon) into small pieces.

4. Add some roasted almonds and walnuts to the biscuit bowl (you can even add some dry fruits like figs)

5. Now add the melted chocolate and cream mixture to the biscuit bowl and give it a nice mix.

6. Spread the mixture in a mold of your own choice, like here I used a detachable base mold(if you don’t have a detachable base mold just make sure you use a butter paper at the base before spreading the mixture). After spreading the mixture press on it nicely to make sure all the gaps are filled.

7. Now put the cake base into the freezer and allow it to set for an hour.

CHOCOLATE GANACHE

8. After 1 hour make a thin layer of chocolate ganache. Microwave some cream and chocolate together for 40-50 sec in order to melt it. Give it a nice mix and allow it to cool for 10 minute.

9. Now take out the cake base from freezer and pour the melted chocolate at the top of it .

10. Again put the cake into the freezer to set for an hour.

11. After one hour the cake has set nicely and ready to demold. Before demolding run the knife throughout the perimeter of cake and then detach the base.

12. Now garnish the cake with some walnuts and grate some white chocolate at the top. Ready to serve.

Hope you all loved it and gonna try it at your home.
Stay tuned until next. LOVE.
